That’s the thinking behind Adroit Digital’s acquisition of Arcametrics, a small North Carolina-based company whose technology uses predictive modeling to create lookalike audiences based on high-quality customers….
After being acquired by DSP MediaMath back in 2010, Adroit (known at the time as Adroit Interactive) was relaunched in 2013 as Adroit Digital based on the Advertising Decisioning Solutions (ADS) technology MediaMath had previously bought from Akamai. The result was a shared data co-op that Ross refers to as “Adroit’s crown jewel.”

Digital ad buying and optimization firm MediaMath announced Thursday it has agreed to acquire UK-based social advertising firm Upcast… Upcast’s technology allows marketers to buy ads across social sites such as Facebook and Twitter in an automated fashion, and adds capabilities that MediaMath’s suite of ad tools did not offer previously.
Business Insider spoke with some of the big players in ad tech and asked them to share their thoughts on the hottest companies in the industry right now. MediaMath, a demand side platform, or DSP, was one name that kept coming up. The company provides advertisers and marketers with tools to buy ads online through a single interface.
